NOT ALL WINES ARE CREATED EQUAL

Our whole story and methodology is based on making healthy , low allergen wines which are better for the environment, better for our staff, and better for our customers.

Sustainable wine-growing is a new Zealand Winegrowers initiative backed by the New Zealand Government. The initive was introduced to promote best practice in fields such as biodiversity, water usage, energy consumption, waste management.

We are passionate about everything that is wine. We love our wine and the land that allows us to make it. We do everything we can to ensure our kids can keep making wine here, which is why we practice sustainable winegrowing.

VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN

At Moana Park all our wines, every single one, is Vegan and Vegetarian, that is made with no animal based fining agents. We are audited and approved to use the vegan and vege logos.

It’s about making great wine by relying on natural fruit flavour and quality over the use of additives and chemicals. less is more in this case, its about what doesn’t go into the wine that counts. Wines which are made from grapes, and grapes alone. Popular animal-derived fining agents used in the production of wine include blood and bone marrow, casein (milk protein), chitin (fiber from crustacean shells), egg albumen (derived from egg whites), fish oil, gelatin (protein from boiling animal parts), and isinglass (gelatin from fish bladder membranes).

We proudly add none of these products to our wines.
