The Moana Park Winery crew have concocted a plan to use the new fire pit at Moana, fashioning a makeshift flaming outdoor oven rotisserie harnessing the almighty power of fire.
Super talented Chefs will do the honours, sacrificing the meat to the Syrah gods, and crafting some hearty and unique arrangements for the main lunch event. With cumulatively over a decade of decades of experience in kitchens across the world, these guys know fine cuisine.
Expect some stunning New Zealand beef (800 grams each)presented in a variety of succulent ways straight from the firepit with a nose to tail philosophy, in a no-nonsense banquet style, where the rustic simplicity of this classic Hawke’s Bay combo will rule the day. Friends are made with Syrah, not salad.
Moana Park award-winning winemaker & Winery owner Dan Barker will talk Total BS (that’s Beef & Syrah, right) with you as you work your way through generous helpings of several succulent Syrahs from his personal stash of rare Moana Park beauties plus a special treat or two from across the border. Complimented with some gutsy, gravelly tunes from local music talent you will leave heartened, hearty and happy.
